Tastefully furnished and beautifully updated, this traditional property makes a warm and cheerful getaway for couples, families and their pets discovering the dramatic fells and stunning woodlands at the heart of the Lake District. Offering spellbinding views across Borrowdale, the cottage is within easy reach of some of the region’s best-loved lakes.
Entering this bright and relaxing property, the cosy lounge features a TV, plenty of seating and a stone fireplace with an open fire, providing a lovely space for your dog to snooze at the end of a great day as you chat or watch a movie. With a large sash window allowing light to flood in, the pretty kitchen/diner is perfect for everyone to get together to cook and share a family meal. The ground floor also hosts a family bathroom. Three light and cosy bedrooms are on the first floor: a single, a twin and a double room with valley views. Although the house doesn’t have its own dedicated outdoor space, the outside area is part of a natural shared terrace with a gill trickling past, and there are miles of idyllic walks for you and your pet to enjoy from the doorstep.
Buttermere, Crummock Water and Derwentwater are all nearby (within 6.5 miles), with Bassenthwaite Lake also within easy reach (11 miles). A fantastic base for eager dogs and their owners, Seatoller is close to the vibrant town of Keswick (8 miles) which has plenty of dog-friendly pubs and cafes. Dogs are welcome at local attractions including the Puzzling Place, the grounds at Mirehouse, Derwent Pencil Museum and Whinlatter Forest Park (all within 12 miles).
