Return to the comfort of this cottage with its inviting accommodation, to light up the wood burner in the lounge and see your happy hounds stretch out and dream about their exciting holiday adventures whilst you relax and watch the Smart TV. Enjoy special times with your family and faithful friends. Make your way into the kitchen/diner to prepare delicious dinners for hounds and humans alike, then lay the table for a lively holiday meal. At the end of each fun-filled day, lay your head in either the twin bedroom, also downstairs, or the king-size room, which can be found, together with the family bathroom, up a steep, cottage-style staircase. Take the pups out for a stroll in the morning then relax in the sunshine on the bench in the enclosed patio area with a cup of coffee. Find you have space for storing cycles in an external building, which also has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is parking for one car at the cottage.
Pack snacks, water and dog treats and head off on the 7-mile, circular Ravenstonedale and Smardale Walk. This will take you beside a river and past the Smardale Viaduct. Have a day out in the scenic Lake District: drive 21 miles to Haweswater Reservoir to tire furry feet out on a 10-mile loop of the lake.
