Return to the semi-detached cottage to fire up the wood burner or soak up the sunshine on the terrace or lawn.
Make your way inside and bring your pup through into the snug, which has a TV with Freeview, or perhaps into the welcoming lounge instead. Stoke up the wood burner in here so he can warm his paws, then settle down to a good film on the TV. Find the stylish kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare holiday feasts with your own ingredients and has ample space for your pup to enjoy his meals in here too. There is also a utility room with a washer/dryer. Climb either of the two sets of stairs to find a super-king-size bedroom that can be made up as a twin if discussed in advance, plus a king-size bedroom and a twin - each one is a step down. The twin can be set up as a super-king-size room by prior arrangement. The family bathroom and a shower room, both with underfloor heating, are also at this level. Call your pup out into the garden in the morning and throw a ball for him on the grass. There is parking for three cars, space to store bikes and a shared electric charging station.
Take your furry friend with you to explore the gardens at Mirehouse, less than 1 mile away. Head into Keswick, 3 miles away, to attempt a stretch of the 10-mile walk around Derwentwater. Or take a dog-friendly cruise instead to immerse yourselves in the stunning scenery.
