Retreat to this gorgeous apartment for two near Water Yeat, overlooking Coniston Water. One of several holiday homes on this private estate in the Lake District, the one-bedroom abode sleeps two guests and a pair of canine companions. From here strike out on magnificent walks around the lake, to Torver Common (5 miles), or through the picturesque grounds. Return to wash muddy pups off with warm water in the shared doggy bath and to relax in your courtyard garden, from which you can see the water of the lake sparkling through the trees.

Wander into the ground-floor property with your hounds at your heel to discover bright accommodation, with a contemporary finish. Make yourselves at home in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Find everything you need in the kitchen space to whip up delicious dinners for everyone with your own ingredients. Whiz doggy towels through the washer/dryer in here too and make fresh cups of coffee in the machine. Open the French doors on warm days so you and the pups can wander outside. Light the wood burner when it’s chilly and settle down in front of the TV with Freeview, or listen to music through the Bluetooth speaker while your contented canines relax. As night falls, head off to the king-size room, with four-poster bed and freestanding bath. You also have a shower room with WC. Take breakfast out in the charming courtyard garden on warm days. Find parking for one car at the property.

Follow sections of the scenic, 14-mile route that takes you all the way around the lake and includes some dramatic views. Take your happy hounds out with you on a launch to take in the views from the water. Hop off at Brantwood to explore the famous mountainside gardens that also welcome four-legged visitors.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It is a great location for visiting all the attractions. It is also a short walk to the lake, where we did some open water swimming..

Very comfortable and well equipped abode . The boiler was broken in the apartment we had booked so the owner accommodated us in another one which luckily was available. These things happen and the owner dealt with it really appropriately.

Amazing location and place to stay - out of the way and very quiet and peaceful ! Cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and cosy . Ideal for on the doorstep dog walks and access to nature . Would definitely recommend a visit .

We had a great week in the apartment and found it to be very comfortable. It was lovely to spend the day exploring, knowing we would be going back to our cosy base. Being so close to the lake was an added bonus and the dogs really appreciated the whole experience too. Very relaxing - thank you.

The cottage itself was absolutely spot on, there was everything in there you could have needed. I take my own cleaning products, pot towels etc but all those were provided if you needed them. It was almost like home from home. It was warm and cosy and you could also use the log burner which was very nice.

Absolutely loved staying here. Such a beautiful apartment that is in a peaceful, beautiful location. Its only a stone throw away from the bottom of Coniston water, which is a beautiful place to drive to in 5 minutes or even walk to, to relax. We absolutely adored our stay at Reflections Lake Side. It was a great location to explore the South Lakes, super dog friendly and within walking distance to coniston water. Lovely location and property however is a part of a complex of apartments, was let down by the fact you could hear the people upstairs and next door, which didnt feel very private.
