Watch as your excitable pup sprints across the stunning acre of garden. This wildly beautiful space boasts plenty of nooks and crannies for your dog to explore.. During the summer months, the outdoor furniture is perfect for groups to while away a lazy afternoon drinking fizz and dining alfresco. Follow your pup inside and discover the bright and roomy lounge, which is a lovely area for all to relax in. Watch a funny film together as your dog stretches its legs in front of the fireplace or spend an evening playing family games with your group. The elegant kitchen/diner has everything you need to whip up a delicious spread, which can be enjoyed at the large oak dining table. When it’s time for bed, take your pick of six stunning bedrooms: two super-king-size, two doubles or two bunk bedrooms.

Shop till you drop in the historic market town of Penrith (14 miles) and explore a wealth of independent shops and boutique eateries. The North Pennines, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all within 15 miles and offer ramblers a number of exhilarating walks and challenging trails to pursue.

This is a really beautiful property, the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had ample space for group meals. The garden is really fun and extensive though we didn't use it much as we were visiting in winter. It was a great house for a group getaway!

Fabulous holiday home which was warm, well equipped, comfortable & characterful. It was very spacious & was a great place for a family get together . Ideal for a dog with the large gardens & good walking routes from the door. Its in a great location - about 15 mins walk downhill into the town centre where you can find great butchers, grocers, bakerRead mores, gift shops, lovely cafes and a couple of pubs. Really nice pub a 5 min walk downhill in the other direction. Would definitely recommend Hide

An excellent place for an extended family get together. Enough room for 8 adults and 4 children to feel at ease. The children loved the garden and the tree house.

Lovely, big old house. Very clean. Maintained as well as a house that age can be as a guest house. Facilities for everyone and plenty of space. Really nice stay for 12 of us.

Spacious, characterful, warm property. We were a party if 8 adults, 2 children and 1 dog. We enjoyed the space inside and the garden was great too. Beds and bedding very good quality. Pillows and quilts are feather. Property is very well equipped, located close to Appleby .

The location of this house is excellent, it's very large and spacious and we didn't feel on top of each other. It's clean and has good facilities. Great for a family holiday with kids and just needs a little TLC in the house in our opinion but overall a great stay.

The premises was clean and tidy and the equipment provided was very good. 5 Children in our party, whose ages ranged from 8 to 14, enjoyed the garden. The house was spacious. Beechcroft is a superb old house with a lot of character. The youngsters with us had the best games of hide and seek in both the house and garden. Loved the gardens, tree house and outside play areas. The house was very well equipped, and easy to keep clean and tidy. We found the accomdation to be spacious, clean, well-equipped, warm and comfortable. We stayed at Beechcroft with family for a 50th birthday. There were 11 of us all together. The house is lovely and spacious. The beds were comfortable with nice linen. The kitchen was well equipped and had 2 ovens. Plenty of parking. Grounds were great for the kids as they played a lot on the swing set. The upstairs shower didnt get hot water, howeRead morever the downstairs showers were lovely and hot. We had an issue with the wifi which was swiftly dealt with once reported. This was a perfect venue for a big family meet up. The grandchildren loved playing hide & seek in the house & venturing into the treehouse. The kitchen was really well equipped & the house was lovely & warm. It was great having enough bathrooms for everyone. We enjoyed visiting Lowther castle, the children said it was the best playground they had eRead morever been to. It was also very handy for visiting the Lake District. We went to Keswick & Ullswater. We had a fabulous family Christmas at Beechmount. Our party included 3 oldies with limited mobility, 3 dogs, 2 kids and 6 adults. The property is fantastically well equipped - we did a full Christmas dinner just bringing a couple of extra oven trays. The heating is easily controlled and house was spotless. Highly recommended. Beautiful house , lovely bedrooms, super comfy beds and delicate bed linen . Bathrooms equally beautiful , fresh and clean . Sitting room comfy and welcomed with a gorgeous Christmas tree. Lovely cottage in walking distance to Applebly. Good location for accessing the Lake District & Yorkshire. The grandchildren loved to swing area in the garden & plenty of space in the cottage for our extended family. A superb holiday destination. Ideally located, easy walking distance into Appleby centre and a 2 min walk from avoid pub. It had everything you could need to enjoy time away with family. It had everything we could ask for and the younger children loved the play equipment! Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds and bedding. Great, well stocked kitRead morechen and comfy lounge. We had a lovely holiday with children and grandchildren (11 of us in total) in this warm and spacious house. Location is excellent, a 10 minute walk into Appleby and short drives to the Lakes/Dales. The large garden was great for the grandchilden to use up some energy! Highlights of the week were some local walks and trips on the Ullswater Steamer Read moreand on the Settle-Carlisle railway (Appleby station is close by).
