Perfectly placed to both potter about the bustling town centre and explore unparalleled natural surroundings, there is something to keep everyone happy with a holiday at this charming cottage.
This welcoming holiday cottage is set in a quiet area, less than 0.5 miles from the centre of Keswick. The town has a great selection of woof-friendly eateries and shops. Enjoy dog walks from your front door at Derwentwater or amongst the floral displays of Hope Park (both within 1 mile). The property sleeps four guests and two hairy sidekicks, making it perfect for small families and couples. The cottage has a sociable layout with a sunroom and spacious lounge. There are two outdoor areas, including an enclosed patio for your four-legged friends.
The cottage is decorated in a contemporary style, with elegant accessories and plush soft furnishings. Oak flooring runs throughout the living area, with comfortable seating arranged around a cosy wood burner, along with ample room for the dog beds. Come together around the dining table for delicious meals or retire to the sunroom with a glass of wine. This is also a lovely spot for the dogs to chill out, away from all the socialising and with direct access to the outdoor area. The two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a king-size – are located on the first floor. To the front of the cottage, there is a seating area with views of Latrigg and to the rear, there’s an enclosed patio where the woofers can play and you can dine alfresco.
Wander down to the shores of Derwentwater for a relaxing dog walk. Head to the viewpoint at Friar’s Crag for stunning views over Catbells and Skiddaw, before settling down on the pebble beach for a picnic. Alternatively, you and your furry chums can board the Keswick Launch to majestically cruise across the water. Catbells is a great dog and family-friendly fell. It’s one of the smaller Wainwrights, but the views from its summit are spectacular.
