Love this cottage. Second time staying here and will be back. Please do not think this is an easy climb to bathroom and bedrooms as the stairs are steep, so for those with mobility issues, possibly not for you. Also not for someone in a low sports car as the lane up is rutted and steep.

Fantastic week! Amazing localtion, fabulous walks straight out front door. Loved waking up to lambs outside the windows. Kids enjoyed play in the little garden and by stream. Lovely 4 bedroom cottage right at the foothills of Skiddaw. An enclosed garden with patio furniture. Very well equipped. Stream running in front of the cottage. Very peaceful. Highly recommend.

Beck View was a well appointed property at the foot of Skiddaw. Very comfortable and nice features in this traditional mill workers building. Parking is a wee bit tight in a shared lane.

Don't want to tell anyone about this place as wonderful. If you want quiet and peaceful this is it. Don't expect a pub/restaurant as the nearest one is 2 miles away. If you have mobility issues this is not for you or with young children. The stairs are steep and there are odd little steps. If you are fit and healthy this is a gem of a place. This is a comfortable well equipped cottage, although has a lot of stairs! It is in a tucked away position but has beautiful views and not too far from Keswick.

Nice and cozy cottage. Comfortable beds which is always a massive plus. Very well equipped kitchen. Close to Keswick but still felt out of the way. We walked Siddaw and other fells right from the door which is lovely. If the sound of a river outside your bedroom window keeps you awake take ear pugs. However we loved it.

What a perfectly located house, beautiful situated. The house itself has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It is situated perfectly for local walks and only a few minutes from Keswick. The local pubs serve great food and everyone was so friendly. Loved our week there and cant wait to go back

Lovely comfortable cottage in a super location. There were some problems which Im sure will be quickly sorted. The cleaning wasnt as we wouldve hoped and the en-suite shower wasnt working. We reported it, but heard no more, so couldnt use it. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next tenants.
