Borrowdale cottage is an absolute gem. The owners Carol and Ian couldn't have been more accommodating We had to change our booking date at short notice in April and they were so helpful and understanding. The cottage itself is a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary, it was so cosy to come back to after a day of exploring the area. Carol had eRead morequipped it with absolutely everything you could possibly wish for and it was spotlessly clean. The location is ideal for both the Lakes and coast. Hide

The property is ideal in location. Lots of the lakes are within an hours drive. Most of the scenery is less than that. The Cumbrian mountains are not to be missed.

A lovely cosy cottage! Complete with an original wonky staircase! A perfect base for accessing either the coast or the Lake District.
