An 8-mile walk takes you to Blencathra, past Castlerigg Stone Circle and through a patchwork of terrain where you can climb to the summit for a picturesque panoramic viewpoint. Foodies will delight in a visit to Keswick (2 miles) where a number of dog-friendly eateries can be found to refuel once you’ve explored the natural beauty of the area.
