Enjoy a group break to Braithwaite in the Lakes and bring a pair of four-legged friends along to join in the holiday fun. Sleeping 12 guests, the three-storey property has six bedrooms and a garden that your happy hounds will simply adore. Head out from here to Derwentwater, less than 1.5 miles away, then set tails wagging with a 10-mile circular hike. Your delighted dogs will also enjoy trips out to Whinlatter Forest, 2.5 miles away, and the nearby peaks of Grisedale Pike, 2.5 miles from the property, and Skiddaw, 7 miles away.
Call Rex and Rover into the handsome house and through into the lounge, to stretch out beside the open fire while you switch on the Smart TV. Take them into the kitchen and utility room when they start asking for their dinner – you have a handy washing machine and tumble dryer for doggy blankets here too. Prepare tasty meals for everyone else to enjoy in the dining room. You also have a ground-floor WC. Climb the stairs to find two super-king-size bedrooms that can be arranged as twins upon request, along with a family bathroom and a bunk bedroom. On the floor above, discover a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a double and a twin, plus another bathroom and a games room with TV/DVD. These rooms have some restricted head height. Outside, let the pups play on the lawned garden while you have breakfast on the patio. You’ll also find parking for six cars.
Take a boat trip on Derwentwater from Keswick, 2.5 miles away, on which four-legged voyagers are also welcome. Jump off at Hawes End to stretch furry legs with a walk of less than 1 mile up to the picturesque Catbells. Return to Keswick and stroll out to the Castlerigg Stone Circle, 1.5 miles from the town.
