Spacious, contemporary and beautifully furnished accommodation spread across three floors. A great base for a group of friends or family to enjoy the vibrant town of Hay-on-Wye and explore the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Sleek and spacious holiday home within a couple of hundred metres of the world-renowned Hay-on-Wye. Located on the fringes of both England and Wales, this property makes a fantastic base for a large family of six and up to two four-legged friends.
After a long day of exploration with the pup, kick off your walking boots in the spacious entrance hall and make your way through to the homely lounge. Large sofas, board games, books, and French doors to the enclosed garden make this the ultimate comfy hideout, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Your perfect pooch will enjoy padding around the property and gardens, while you rustle up their food in the well-equipped kitchen/diner. Alternatively, fire up the BBQ and let your food sizzle away while you relax. After the day is over, sleep soundly in one of three pretty bedrooms. The first floor presents a beautiful twin room with zip and link beds and a shower over the bathroom, and a double with an en-suite, complete with a waterfall shower. Up on the second floor, a king-size bedroom offers a desk, dressing room and lounge chair where you can connect to the Bluetooth speaker and relax to your favourite tunes.
Grab the leads and navigate the various trails along the banks of the River Wye, where your pups can paddle at The Warren, or you can all hop in the car and drive south to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Venture to the waterfalls of Nant Sere (21 miles), for a bit of wild swimming, or take in the sights of the imposing summits of Pen y Fan and Cribyn. Hay-on-Wye, known as the ‘Town of Books’, is a couple of hundred metres away from the house and boasts over 20 bookshops to browse at your leisure. It’s not just books though – pop into one of the local dog-friendly restaurants to refuel after a morning of rambling, or schedule your trip to coincide with a vibrant calendar of arts events held at The Globe.
