Lavender Cottage is a fantastic, dog-friendly, five-bedroom holiday cottage in the popular coastal resort of Tenby. Perfect for two families or a large group of friends.

This welcoming family cottage is perfectly located less than 200 metres from Tenby’s most dog-friendly beach: Tenby South Beach. We know that your canine companions are essential to any group holiday, so this cosy home allows up to two dogs to join your seaside getaway. Tenby has a great selection of dog-friendly eateries, while the Pembrokeshire Coast has a plethora of beaches where your faithful friends can play fetch for hours. After a day out by the coast, treat the pack to a BBQ in the enclosed courtyard.

Enter this bright cottage, which is decorated with a subtle nod to its seaside surroundings. Choose from the comfortable sofas or tub chairs and spend the evening playing card games or watching a movie as your pups snuggle down at your feet. The adjacent dining room easily seats ten, perfect for relaxed meals or celebrating a special occasion. Cook up a storm in the galley-style kitchen and treat your canine companions to a homemade snack. The ground floor also has a convenient shower room for hosing down sandy paws. On the remaining floors, you’ll find five beautifully decorated bedrooms. Spend a sunny afternoon in the enclosed courtyard - fire up the charcoal BBQ while your canine companions bask in the sun.

Tenby has three beautiful sandy beaches, however, there are plenty of nearby beaches that welcome dogs whatever the season. Wiseman’s Bridge and Manorbier Bay are both within 6 miles. Spend the day making sandcastles as your faithful friends splash in the refreshing waves. Let your dogs find their sea legs with a trip to Caldey Island or go for a walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Heatherton World of Activities, just 3.5 miles away, has a dog agility course so there is something for everyone, whether they have two legs or four.

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had a great stay at Lavender Cottage. Nice & spacious - perfect for our 2 families. Super comfy beds & great to have flexibility of twin or super king in 2 of 5 bedrooms. Very handy having sinks in most bedrooms aswell. Location was perfect - easy walking distance to all beaches, restaurants & shops. Managed to park both our cars on the street oRead moreutside which was a bonus! But Seafront Car park is only a stones throw away & has ample spaces. The welcome hamper was a lovely gesture aswell. 4 adults, 6 children (ages 1 to 14 years) and 2 dogs stayed at the property for 7 nights. The house is deceptively big - at no point did we feel on top of each other. The house was clean and well presented. The beds were really comfortable. The location is the best - 5 mins into town and 5 mins to the nearest 2 beaches. We stayed over Christmas with a house of seven adults, two kids and two dogs. A lovely, well stocked and cared for property, which is much bigger in real life than in the photos - plenty of space for all and no bathroom queues. The location is perfect. Basically 3 mins in any direction takes you to either, all the car parks, South Beach and in to tRead moreown (through the wall), with all the shop, pubs and amenities to hand (only a few minutes extra to North, Harbour and Castle beach). 5 Stars. Stayed for the third year for the Blues Festival A great property! Well situated for our needs and all the comforts. In the process of booking for next year. Would recommend to anyone for a great break in Tenby

The house was pleasant & comfortable & ideally located for Tenby North Beach. The holiday was onlt spoiled by very bad weather (rain & wind from Storm Cairan)

We had a great week in this lovely house; the welcome basket is a treat and the owners are attentive and super kind. More towels and a garden table are needed. The beds are fab, facilities great (except downstairs shower), location perfect and local beaches lovely. Parking on nearby streets is easy to find, the car park is 60 per week (2023). DininRead moreg room is great for big family meals. I wouldnt take a crawling baby here as the downstairs carpet isnt clean. Overall I recommend this cottage. Hide

Great big house for groups of family or friends, very comfortable beds and bedding, nice large living areas and a good back yard. Location was great with a short walk to both town and beaches, would recommend to friends and would book again if down that way.

We had a fabulous time at Lavender Cottage, it really was a home from home. Communication with the owners was prompt and could not be faulted. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, rooms were airy and spacious, and beds were particularly comfortable. We loved the large kitchen which had a good size fridge/freezer and ample supply of crockery, cutRead morelery, glasses etc. The only negative was the outside space which needs some attention but I have spoken to the owners regarding this.
