Let yourselves into this two-storey cottage and call your happy hounds through to the lounge/diner to relax with you after your exhilarating walks. Let them doze while you find your favourite film on the Smart TV. Wander through to the kitchen to prepare tasty meals for all members of your party, including those with waggy tails, with the delicious local Lancashire produce you have sourced on your forays out. Lay the table in the lounge/diner. Find the family bathroom also at this level. Climb the stairs to discover a double room, plus a twin with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as a super-king-size instead if discussed in advance. Wake up to take your pair of pups for a run around the garden, keeping an eye on them near the stream. Dine out here too on fine days, taking in the beautiful views. There is parking for two cars at the cottage.

From Barnoldswick undertake the 6-mile Pendle Three Peaks walk. This includes Pendle Hill, Boulsworth and Weets. You could also attempt a section of the 45-mile Pendle Way or drive 13 miles to Gisburn Forest, where you and your doggy chums can follow six different walking trails through the woodland.
