Boasting a stylish interior throughout, this bungalow is the perfect choice for a relaxing break away by the sea for a family or couples alike.

Enjoy the pleasure of watching your four-legged friend frolic in the waves and leave paw prints on the sand when you stay at this property. The two-bedroom, single-storey, holiday home at Westward Ho! in Devon welcomes two delighted dogs, as well as four guests, and is in a great location for days out at the beach and long coastal walks. Pick up a stretch of the South West Coast Path from the cottage then return home to take in the sea views or to relax out in the courtyard garden.

Watch the pups bound out of the car and into this inviting property. Call them into the airy lounge/diner where they can pad about as you unload and unpack. Watch the Smart TV in here after your trips out, with your cheerful chums close by, and dine at the table after whipping up holiday meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Feed your hungry hounds in here too then take them for a play in the garden before patting them goodnight and heading off to either the double bedroom or the room with a small double and single bunk above. The bedrooms share the family shower room. Bask in the spring and summer sunshine out in the courtyard garden, with your furry pals also enjoying the fresh air. Find you have some outdoor storage space plus parking for two cars at the property.

Stroll over to the fabulous beach at Westward Ho! where the sandy stretch is huge at low tide. Also enjoy your proximity to the wilder Northam Burrows Country Park with its miles of footpaths to follow through the sand dunes. Saunton Sands (17 miles), with its vast, open stretches, also welcomes furry paws all year round and is a great place for energetic pups to let off steam.

Spotlessly clean and tidy and and well equipped - easy walking distance from the beach and the country park and an easy drive into Bideford. Lovely walks for the dog. Good pub food at the Waterfront and fish and chips and great ice cream on the sea front. Hosts were very helpful and approachable.

Lovely bungalow with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great base for trips out and within easy walking distance to the town that has good places to eat. Loads of space for the dogs (I have 2 greyhounds) and loved the nice welcoming touches.

Very enjoyable stay. Bungalow had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped with everything required for self catering. Good location and only a short walk to local amenities and beach. Will definitely return.

Fabulous, well equipped cottage within easy walk of the Burrows and Westward Ho! centre and beach. Appledore is also walkable from here and we saw buses to take you further afield if you wanted to leave car behind. This property was lovely. Ideal location to visit many attractions. Very clean & comfortable. The bed was amazing & the shower. I would definitely recommend this to family & friends. The area was very dog friendly.

A surprisingly roomy bungalow . Beautifully clean and modern with clean comfortable furnishings despite allowing dogs . Plenty of room to park the car. Easy to get around the area by foot or car once you have your bearings .

Salty Paws is spotlessly clean and in an ideal location to explore Westward Ho! and the surrounding areas. We appreciated the flowers , milk from the local dairy, butter and wine! It was nice to have adequate parking and good places to take the dogs within easy walking distance: we walked to the dog friendly part of the beach at Northam Burrows (abRead moreout 15-20 minutes). We had a lovely stay at Salty Paws. The property was extremely clean and well equipped. The little extras supplied by the the owners (milk, flowers, wine and dog treats ) were a nice touch and off road parking is always a bonus. The location was perfect for us as it was only a 10 minute walk to Northam Burrows Country park which then led on to the Read morebeach and central amenities. I would have no hesitation in recommending Salty Paws to others. Hide

Nice clean cottage. Used really as a base to explore the area. Recommend visiting Saunton Sands, and woolacombe. Westward Ho beach is lovely but town is average. Not many places to eat but good fish and chips and pizza at Pig and Olive. Avoid the Chinese as really not great!

Extremely well kept and spotlessly clean bungalow with a well equipped kitchen in a residential area 10 minutes walk from Westward Ho! and its beach. Lovely cottage, with lovely touches made by the hosts for our arrival. Ample parking on the front of the property. Only a short flat walk to amenities, amusements and the beach. Plenty of parking at the beach, should you choose to drive which we did to transport paddle boards. 5 a day to park or 15 for the week which we thought was really reasonablRead moree. lovely place to stay,a 20 min walk to the seafront with a good selection of bars and restaurants also there is a tesco.if you have a dog that likes a good walk you have to use the car,the Burrows is a good place for them its down a toll road and charges 5 a day there is a cafe thats quite reasonable.there is also a lovely coastal walk from the seafRead moreront .a good place to discover Devon Hide

We had a lovely stay at Salty Paws. Had everything we needed, apart from a washing machine. It was very clean and in a great location. 20 min walk to the shops and restaurants. Westward Ho is very dog friendly, lots of bars and restaurants allow dogs. We went in May, so dogs were not allowed on main beach, but there is a dog friendly section, but nRead moreot very easy to walk to so had to drive. Be aware, they charge 5.00 a day to park the car at dog friendly beach. Hide
