Fabulous single-storey cottage set in picturesque countryside close to Bamburgh, offering quality accommodation and style. Perfect for families looking to spend time together and enjoy the outdoors.
Explore the wild beauty of the Northumberland coast with a pair of very happy hounds by your side. This beautiful, stone barn conversion, in the quiet hamlet of Warenton, looks out over scenic countryside and enjoys access to some magnificent places to walk. Sleeping seven guests, as well as two dogs, the single-storey, four-bedroom house has an enclosed garden in which pups and children can play out in the sunshine.
Wander into this attractive holiday home, with its high vaulted ceilings and exposed timbers, and find space for outerwear and dog leads in the hall cupboard. Call the pups through into the gorgeous, open-plan kitchen/diner where they can pad about or stretch out on the floor while you prepare dinner to enjoy at the table. The nearby utility room is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer through which you can whiz doggy towels after damp walks. Relax together in the lounge, with its Smart TV, with Apple TV and Netflix; light the wood burner in here on cool days and open the French doors when it’s warm so your four-legged friends can sniff the fresh air. At the end of each day, head off to either the twin bedroom, the single or one of the two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom. Spill outside on sunny days to let your canine companions frolic while you soak up the impressive scenery. There’s also parking for three cars at the barn.
Drive approximately 10 miles to reach the beach at Seahouses, where your delighted dogs can splash in the shallows all year round. Stroll 3 miles from here along a stretch of the St Oswald’s Way and the coast to Bamburgh, where dogs on leads are also welcome in the castle grounds.
