Nestled within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this attractive house is ideal for families, friends, and one beloved canine companion looking for an active beach holiday. There are restrictions for your hound on Challaborough Bay Beach between 1 May and 30 September. However, less than a mile away along the South West Coast Path are Ayrmer Cove and Bigbury Bay Beach, which, to the west of the causeway, welcome your pup all year.
Step inside this impressive reverse-level property, where you will find the entrance hall and all four bedrooms downstairs. There are two king-size bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite shower, a super-king-size, and a bunk bedroom featuring a single bed on top of a double. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom. Upstairs is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the heart of this contemporary and stylish home. The lounge area has comfortable seating and makes the perfect spot to relax, with four paws snoozing in front of the Smart TV while you catch up on a favourite film. The kitchen area has all you need to cook up a storm. The bi-fold doors from the lounge open onto a lovely, decked terrace area with plenty of seating and a BBQ, making this the ideal spot for some al fresco dining on sunny days.
You and four paws can enjoy a lovely walk along a sweep of golden sand at South Wilton Beach (9 miles). Salcombe (12 miles) boasts fantastic seafood restaurants and shopping, and your hound can enjoy the beach at North Sands all year. Dartmouth is another memorable day out for all ages. Stop on the way at Slapton Sands so your top dog can go mutts on the beach. Alternatively, head to historic Burgh Island (3 miles), reached via the sea tractor when the tide is in.
