This converted shearing shed provides you with a great base for exploring the coast and Exmoor National Park and welcomes six guests to relax in style after adventures.
Step inside this charming stone barn and settle in in the characterful living areas. Simple, country charm flows throughout, and the kitchen/diner is no exception. Softly coloured tiles line the space where you will find all you need to rustle up everything from tasty tit bits to date night dinners and you can find a hidden spot for your pup’s treat jar. A summer feast can be devoured on the patio after sizzling up the BBQ and dining alfresco as your wag-tailed guests enjoys the enclosed garden. Finish your night with a soak in the hot tub or sit in front of the wood burner in the lounge. Head to the first floor to drift off in one of three inviting bedrooms with vaulted, sloping ceilings. There is a handy utility room and ample off-road parking.
Marvel at the rugged, wild coastline which can be superbly explored by walking the South West Coast Path. Pass through Trentishoe and Heddon’s Mouth on your way to Woody Bay (11 miles) where there is a wonderful tidal pool at low tide which will tempt both you and your pup in for a wild swim. 10 miles in the other direction is the bustling harbour town of Ilfracombe where you can enjoy local ice creams and fish and chips and hunt out secluded coves or wander the high street.
