Take a trip to the sea and whisk your family away for a getaway to remember in this charming cottage. Bexhill-on-Sea is a fantastic location for a holiday with your tufty-pawed pal by your side, enjoy waterside walkies to start your day and time in the garden once you return. Little ones will be over the moon when they spy the Wendy house where they can play whilst you sip an al fresco sundowner.

16 shallow steps lead through the pretty garden to the front door. Once inside, whet your appetite in the charming kitchen/diner which is decorated in light tones and has plenty of room for treat jars, ingredients and space to prepare dinner. Keep your chef company and sit at the table with a drink before plating up inside or out. Enjoy post-dinner tipples and treat pups to tit bits in the enclosed garden where those with lots of energy can run free and play games of fetch. Should a chill be in the air, continue your night in the tranquil lounge where you can get cosy and put on a film. A pair of inviting bedrooms await weary heads and are filled with natural light and pretty patterns. Spend a lazy morning under the covers with the Smart TV in the king-size room or head into the conservatory with your morning cuppa. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Walk down to the local beach and stroll the 2-mile promenade for a stretch of the legs with sea views. Reward your walk with snacks at a local dog-friendly eatery or pick up some goodies to take home with you. Cooden Beach (4 miles) welcomes dogs all year round so the sand can be scattered with pawprints even in the height of summer.

Mariners Corner is a lovely, well equipped property with a dog friendly beach and pub within a short drive. There is also a park within a 5 minute walk which is next to a supermarket. The friendly owners were on hand to solve any problems. We enjoyed a very sunny week here with our dog, and hope to return at some point in the future.

We love Mariner's Corner. We have visited three times over the last 7 years. Location, comfort, cleanliness and the feeling of welcome with scones and wine is great. We hope to be back again in the future.

This was our 2nd stay at Mariners and once again everything was delightful. Extras such as scones on arrival, wine in the fridge and chocolates by the bedside. Fully equipped with everything you could want in a kitchen. Everything about this holiday home has been thought through with the comfort and enjoyment of the guests at heart.

Only about 30 mins from Eastbourne or Hastings and plenty of historic houses and other attractions in the area. Tesco, M&S. KFC, MacDonalds only 5 mins away by car. The driveway is a bit steep as most of Bexhill seems to be built amongst the hills but plenty of easy roadside parking so that's not a problem. We did not have a pet but they are well cRead moreatered for with blankets etc. All in all a comfortable cottage in a good location although a bit pricey. Hide

Wonderful place to stay. Everything you could ask for. The beach might be a bit far for some but there are a couple of small side roads about half way and a small free car park near the garage that we parked in. Just a bit further along the road towards Hastings is a dog friendly pub, The Bull Inn, which does food. It appears to be very popular witRead moreh locals so might be best to book a table. The little park just up the hill is ideal for walking the dog. Brilliant break! Hide

Very comfortable bungalow in a really good place. It was easy to move around and the shopping precinct 5 minutes away was very convenient. Also the Co-op is in walking distance through the park. The kitchen is very well equipped and the conservatory a bonus, especially with our golden retriever as we could dry him there. (It was quite wet during ouRead morer stay). Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. We particularly liked Pevensey Castle and Battle Abbey. Hide
