The historic town of Hexham is well worth a visit. Wander around the grounds of the abbey and the fabulous Sele Park, where you’ll find stunning formal gardens and woodland walks, before dining in one of the many paw-friendly eateries. You can’t stay in this part of the country without visiting Hadrian’s Wall. The best place to see it, locally, is at Walltown Crags. Here, the magnificent wall snakes and dives along the crags, winding along the wild and mysterious landscape. Follow the wall for an intriguing walk, where there’s guaranteed to be plenty of new sniffs for your hairy pal to investigate!
