Perfect for following the South West Coast Path, this delightful single-level holiday home is set in a peaceful holiday park and offers friendly accommodation for three guests, with plenty of space for a pet dog as well. Situated just metres from the coast, the cottage offers fantastic sea views and makes a wonderful retreat for a couple or a small family in search of a tranquil getaway. Overlooking the Plymouth Sound, the property is just a few miles south of the city itself, and is a lovely spot for dogs and their owners in search of a cosy and comfortable retreat.

Entering this light and fresh property, the pretty open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a bright and comfortable main living area. With Smart TV, far-reaching sea views and cosy seating, the lounge is perfect for snuggling in at the end of a wonderful day exploring this magnificent area. A charming dining area is perfect for enjoying a favourite meal which you can cook in the fully equipped galley-style kitchen. The property also offers a shower room and two relaxing bedrooms: a front-facing double room with sea views, and a delightful single room. Outside, a couple of steps lead to a large patio with outdoor furniture and glorious views across the Plymouth Sound.

There are three beautiful beaches, accessed via steep paths and steps, and all dog-friendly throughout the year: Bovisand Beach, Jennycliff Beach and Batten Bay. There are plenty of great pet-welcoming attractions, pubs, restaurants and shops in the thriving city of Plymouth (7 miles). The property is set on the western edge of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which provides miles of breathtaking scenery for you and your dog to discover. Dogs can also visit Saltram Park (6.5 miles), Plymouth Hoe (7 miles) and Plymbridge Woods (11 miles).

Bed - very comfortable. Shower - powerful with plenty of hot water. Location - view is spectacular from the property which is adjacent to lovely, but quite demanding, walks. Absolutely brilliant cottage!! The view is just fantastic. We were welcomed by a fabulous Devonian pack with pasties and scones (beautiful-thank you). The cottage itself was extremely clean, the beds were decent and you could want for nothing. The little inlet beaches and nearby cliff/coastal walks were wonderful-invigorating for the soul (when it Read morewasn't raining).This cottage makes it a perfect base for all the local walks. The holiday was amazing. We arrived on the hottest day of the year and the weather for the whole week was perfect. The views were spectacular and the host was very accommodating. The cottage is very well equipped and doesnt need any improvements. The highlight of the holiday was the outstanding views. Lovely holiday home with fabulous views. We had a great time. Not used to the English roads so the narrow lane to the parks was a bit of a challenge. There's heaps to do and explore in the area.

Truly wonderful holiday. There is nothing we would change! The welcome pack was second to none and so appreciated after a long trip. The owner was friendly and helpful and the views from the bungalow were stunning. All in all a holiday which was everything we wanted.

Excellent accommodation situated in a breathtaking location. Owner left pasties, scones, cream and jam on our arrival which was a really nice touch. Clean and tidy and possessing all the amenities you would expect. Close to Plymouth city centre and harbour as well as ideal for walking sections of the South West Coastal path.

Lovely place which was warm and comfortable with great views and a great space for walking the dog. Not big but fine for us. We enjoyed our stay and watching the world sail past the windows.

A stunning location with all that you require to enjoy your holiday. Beautiful scenery to observe all the shipping. We stayed local for two weeks just totally relaxed from the rest of the world. We cooked our meals every day helped by the fact that most major supermarkets were less than 15 minute ride away. All this despite good reports of local reRead morestaurant. Hide
