This charming two-storey cottage is ideal for couples, friends, or families, and by prior arrangement, one lucky small pup (no larger than a spaniel) looking for a relaxing rural holiday. Located inside the Lincolnshire Wolds, the village of Tealby is a hidden gem with a pub, tea rooms and a village shop less than 300 metres from the cottage. There are footpaths and cycleways to explore, including the Viking Way, which goes through the village, making this a great escape for hounds wanting to sniff out an adventure in the fresh country air. Nearby Willingham Woods (2 miles) offers trails, bike tracks, and picnic areas.

This welcoming property combines a delightful country style with all the contemporary comforts that ensure a perfect holiday. Step into the kitchen/diner with a striking reclaimed wood floor, exposed stone wall, and a characterful setting with all the necessary appliances to rustle up some tasty treats. Gather around the farmhouse dining table and linger with the warm glow from the wood burner. Retire to the lounge and relax on the comfortable seating with four paws asleep at your feet or in front of the wood burner. There is a Smart TV for entertainment and lovely views over the garden. Head up the cottage-style stairs, and you’ll find a bathroom and two bedrooms: one king-size and one double. Outside is a large garden with a patio, outdoor furniture, and a lawn to relax or dine al fresco on fine days.

Enjoy spending time in Market Rasen (3 miles) on the River Rase, which offers an excellent range of independent shops, eateries and riverside walks. Historic Lincoln (20 miles) is a must-see, where your pup can lead around the 11th-century castle and magnificent cathedral. For a day at the beach, Anderby Creek and Mablethorpe North Beach are less than 35 miles away and perfect for leaving paw prints in the sand.

• 1 small dog accepted (upto the size of a Spaniel by prior arrangement with the owner) - Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture, dogs are not permitted to be left unattended in the property, dogs should be crated at night (small crate provided on request prior to arrival, please ensure that you have an appropriately sized crate as all dogs must be crated overnight) and must be house trained.
• Off-road parking for 1 car (please note small drive available but will allow a car to be reversed in)

• Lockable shed for storage of bikes (Please advise prior to arrival if you are bringing bikes) and boot room, this space is also ideal for washing your dog and there is a medium size dog crate in the shed
• The village shop has an abundance of cakes, pastries and bread and can be pre-ordered prior to arrival
• The cottage has steep cottage style stairs
• A  5% discount is offered for repeat bookings
• The security deposit it charged at £350 per booking for stays longer than a week.
