Get sandy toes and paws at Tenby’s lovely South Beach (0.5 miles), which is dog friendly all year round. The space beneath the cliffs has some restrictions in place during the summer, but there’s still plenty of wonderful sand for your pup to race around. Your dog is also welcome on the boats that run to and from Tenby Harbour (0.5 miles) to Caldey Island. The Cistercian monks there continue a tradition of tranquil living that began there in Celtic times. The crossing takes 20 minutes.
