Head to this inviting country cottage next to a working farm near Malborough, approximately 3 miles from Salcombe, in Devon, and enjoy coastal and countryside walks with your favourite four-legged friend. Up to six guests and one canine companion can stay at the three-bedroom cottage, which benefits from a south-facing garden for Rover to frolic in, as well as good access to footpaths, beaches and nearby beauty spots.
Call your pup pal into this country home and let him stretch out in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner after tiring his furry legs out in the glorious Devonshire surroundings. Humans and doggos can relax in the glow of the wood burner while you watch a film on the flat screen TV. Whip up holiday treats in the well-equipped kitchen and settle down at the dining table together. A shower room, with WC, can also be found at this level, together with a king-size bedroom. Venture up to the first floor to find a second king-size room, plus a twin, with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as a super-king if requested in advance. The family bathroom is also at this level. Let your dog explore the garden while you unwind in the outside seating, take in the views and light the BBQ. Find parking for three cars at the cottage.
Enjoy watching your four-pawed pup bound across the Salcombe North Sands flats, 3 miles from the holiday home, then rest weary paws in a dog-friendly cafe and restaurant overlooking the beach afterwards. South Milton Sands, owned by the National Trust, is 4 miles away and also welcomes dogs all year round. The beach here is popular for windsurfing and the stretch of water by Thurlestone Rock is ideal for pups and people to paddle and swim.
