For a doggie-friendly seaside holiday in Devon, stay at this lovingly decorated property in the surf spot of Woolacombe. It’s superbly located just 500 metres from the sandy beach and South West Coast Path which connects you with pretty spots accessible on foot. For a lower-key activity, you can tuck into cream teas and hearty pub lunches in local cafes and eateries (0.5 miles). The property has space for four guests, making it perfect for a family trip or holiday among friends.

This charming property features a reverse-level layout, with its main living area at the top. A stunning vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and welcoming seating create a lovely setting for relaxing with your dog after a day at the beach. Tasteful artwork on the walls and natural materials contribute to the homely atmosphere. The dining area provides a laid-back setting for meals, while the well-equipped kitchen, complete with marble-style worktops, brings out your inner chef. There’s a king-size bedroom on this floor, while the twin is downstairs, both served by the chic family bathroom. While the property doesn’t have an outside space, the proximity to the beach allows for gentle morning strolls or post-dinner walkies.

When it’s time to explore, the 10-mile circular walk from Woolacombe to Baggy Point (4.5 miles) is excellent for a good leg stretch. It takes in breathtaking coastal and farmland views, with plenty to spot along the way, including seabirds and wildflowers. For more off-lead fun, plan routes in the majestic Exmoor National Park (5 miles) for adventures taking in ancient woodland, open moorland, and wildlife viewings. At nearby Braunton (5.5 miles) you can also join the Tarka Trail, a 180-mile figure-of-eight loop taking in footpaths, bridleways, valleys, woodland, and sea views.

Weve had such a lovely stay at Hayloft , thank you also for welcoming us to the property. The holiday home was absolutely spotless which was great & we had everything we could possibly need for our stay . Really sweet accommodation, right in the heart of Woolacombe. Comfy bed, nicely decorated upstairs and lovely kitchen/living room area. Perfect for the beach, and close to nearby Ilfracombe.

Lovely cottage. Fantastic location for shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect place to stay if you love the beach, its just a short walk down the road. Well equipped for a weeks stay. Comfortable cosy place to relax after a day at the beach.

What a great location! To be within walking distance of the beach was a real blessing, and avoided us getting in the car most days. Woolacombe is a lovely, charming seaside community, and a real jewel in North Devon. The owners have put pretty much anything you can need in the kitchen.
