Let Rex and Rover explore the ground floor as this will be their home during their stay. Follow them into the den, where you might read a book or play a game, and the elegant dining room where you will sit down to celebratory meals while they enjoy their own feasts in the kitchen. There is also a utility room, with a WC and a washing machine. The lounge, with its open fire and TV/DVD/radio/CD, is on the first floor together with a family bathroom and four of your bedrooms, all with en-suite bath or shower rooms. Some of these are on half-landings or have a split-level design. You’ll find a fifth bedroom on the second floor, up a spiral staircase; follow another spiral staircase up to the third floor and your sixth bedroom. On sunny days, spill out into the beautiful estate grounds: throw balls for your happy hounds and let them explore to their hearts’ content.

Head into Dean Castle Country Park, less than 1 mile away, where you and your pups can walk by the river and enjoy refreshments in the cafe.
