This charming property, situated in a quiet rural location just 5.5 miles from Holyhead, is perfect for you and your family – including the four-legged members! Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms with enough space for up to two dogs to stretch out, this pretty cottage is an opportunity to spend time amongst nature with coastal walks or at Breakwater Country Park (7.5 miles). And when you’re all worn out, return to your holiday home and unwind in front of the TV with your loved ones around you.

The cottage, which is set in 16-acre grounds with the owners on site, is laid out in a cosy and comfortable open-plan style. The kitchen area is fresh and bright thanks to the door leading to the garden, while the wood burner and soft neutral colours in the lounge make a welcoming spot to curl up in after a long day out walking. Pups will love running around the enclosed garden while you sink into the hot tub and look out at the stunning countryside views; sizzle up a BBQ out here and dine alfresco before heading to bed in one of the welcoming bedrooms.

Trearddur Bay is just 7 miles away and parts are dog friendly all year round, so no one has to miss out on building sandcastles. GreenWood Family Park (19.5 miles) also welcomes your faithful friends and there are plenty of water bowl stations around so they won’t get thirsty. Beaumaris Castle (22 miles) invites your pups to sniff around the ground floor levels of the site so they too can experience the fantastic architecture of the greatest castle that was never built.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the cottage was in a great, central location to explore Anglesey via car, yet felt very secluded. The goodies left for us on arrival were a lovely welcoming touch. Our favourite thing was using the hot tub in the early evening after exploring during the day, and then warming up by the log burner.

We did not have a good experience at this cottage (4 nights), holiday cottages are currently helping with our complaint Positives - good location, quiet area, great garden and view, beautiful patio & hot tub Problems - The first 2 nights, there was an issue with the boiler so whenever we needed hot water, had to call the owner to turn it back onRead more. Sadly as much as we love Anglesey and have been many times this accommodation was disappointing. Hot tub not working, no prior warning until arrival. Request to cancel and rebook elsewhere denied (this was important to us as we usually camp). Shower tray filled up in less than 60 seconds, clearly blocked for some time. Fire doors did not close aRead morend clearly haven't functioned as fire doors for a while due to markings on the floor. Dogs barking at us whenever we left the cottage or in the garden.

A nice cottage, we had a lovely week with our two dogs. The garden is by far the best thing about the cottage, its securely enclosed and the dogs had a wonderful time sniffing and exploring. Good location for getting around Anglesey, nice and quiet, was just right for two people and two dogs - would probably be a bit too cosy with four people!
