This beautiful cottage, set within a pretty Suffolk village, sleeps four guests and one furry friend. The property is perfectly placed for exploring this glorious part of the country, with the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 10 miles away and the Heritage Coast within touring distance (36 miles). Nearby Bury St Edmunds (13 miles) makes a fantastic day out, with plenty of woof-friendly eateries and attractions.
The bright and airy cottage is decorated in a contemporary style, with impeccable attention to detail. The elegant lounge area, with its double-sided feature wood burner, is the perfect place to relax in the end of a long day; snuggle up on the plush corner sofa with Rover curled up on the rug. Hard floors run throughout the living areas, making it easy to deal with the odd muddy pawprint here and there. The modern kitchen is the ideal place to come together for breakfast and to plan your day’s itinerary. This is also a good spot for the hound to set up camp, with direct access from here to the enclosed garden.
It’s easy to while away an afternoon pottering around Bury St Edmunds. The town centre has lots of independent shops – look out for the pawprint stickers in the windows, to know which ones welcome four-legged visitors. After browsing the shops, take a stroll around the Abbey Gardens, where woofers are allowed on leads and the themed gardens are awash with colour whatever the season. Thetford Forest (just over 30 miles) makes a fantastic family day out for you and your furry companion. The huge forest houses an outdoor play area, numerous walking trails and picnic spots, and is a haven for wildlife, including three species of deer.
