The charming cottage is situated in the pretty Derbyshire village of Crich and sleeps four guests and one furry companion. The village is home to the fabulous Crich Tramway Village, where you and your canine pal can be transported back in time on one of the vintage trams. Further afield, the Heights of Abraham (6 miles) and Chatsworth House (15 miles) make great doggy days out.

A few steps lead from the garden to this beautiful stone cottage. Inside, a warm welcome awaits you, with exposed beams and russet tones creating a really cosy atmosphere. Leave your muddy boots and dog leads in the handy cloakroom, before heading into the heart of the home. Curl up on the sofa in front of the multi-fuel wood burner, with the hound stretched out on the rug, and watch a film or settle down with a good book. Outside, Rover will love charging around in the garden, whilst you fire up the BBQ or relax with a glass of wine in the peaceful surroundings.

Just 0.5 miles from the property you’ll find Crich Tramway Village. As well as riding on the vintage trams, you can wander down the fascinating period street and stretch your legs with a woodland walk following the sculpture trail. If the pup has a head for heights, why not take them for a ride on the cable car at Heights of Abraham? At the top, discover a 60-acre woodland estate, with a wonderful play area, walking trails and gorgeous picnic spots. The grounds of Chatsworth House are nothing short of spectacular. You and the hound can admire the impressive sculptures and waterworks, Victorian rock garden and uncover the estate’s fascinating history.

A charming little cottage which was an ideal base from which to explore this lovely area. Absolutely no issue from the road noise although would recommend reversing in to the parking space due to the limited visability.
