This quirky property boasts an idyllic location, surrounded by open fields and benefitting from fabulous scenery. The pod sleeps two guests and one canine companion, making it perfect for a getaway with your favourite furry friend. Despite the rural location, you’ll be within easy reach of several bustling towns, such as Corwen (2 miles) and Bala (12 miles), both of which have a great selection of woof-friendly shops and eateries. You’ll have a vast array of walking opportunities nearby – enjoy a waterside stroll at Lake Bala (12 miles) or potter around the majestic 480-acre grounds of Chirk Castle National Trust (19 miles).
The stylish pod has an open-plan layout. Fresh decor and tasteful accessories create an elegant space, whilst still remaining cosy and welcoming. Hard floors throughout make dealing with muddy pawprints nice and easy. Relax on the plump sofa in front of the Smart TV and, on a warm day, throw open the doors to outside so you can admire the view and Rover can potter in and out. Gather around the dining table to enjoy mealtimes together or fire up the BBQ and dine al fresco on the decked area, taking in the spectacular surroundings. Round off the evening with a dip in your own private hot tub under the stars.
The historic market town of Bala is well worth a visit. The town is full of culture and the Welsh language is widely spoken. The surrounding area is wild and dramatic, and you can enjoy walks with the pup high in the mountains, through the dense forests or around the lake. Lake Bala is Wales’ largest natural lake and is a great spot for wild swimming. For a truly unique perspective, hop aboard the paw-friendly steam train that runs along the lake’s shores.
