Offering space to sleep up to five guests and with two dogs also welcome, no one need be left behind. Spend your days roving with Rover across spectacular untamed countryside - leave no stick un-fetched, there’s an abundance of outdoor scenery to explore and enjoy.
Step into the generous hallway with Welsh slate tiles, where there is a downstairs wet room and disabled WC, handy for those in need of additional accessibility. The beautiful kitchen, traditional in style, has plenty of cupboard space and a big butler sink. Divided by a low wall, the kitchen also houses a large oak farmhouse table with seating for 7 under a characterful beamed ceiling and feature lighting; it is a welcoming “nook” for mealtimes. Beyond this sits an enticing seating area with windows facing the farmland, so you can relax and take in tranquil views. The lounge is also full of character and countryside charm; let sleeping dogs lie in front of the huge inglenook fireplace with wood burner, while you curl up on one of the cosy sofas and watch TV of an evening. Downstairs there is also an additional garden room with French doors. Upstairs there are three bedrooms; a double, a twin and a single bedroom (with one extra pull-out bed, if required) and a family bathroom. Access the enclosed garden via the garden room’s French doors, sheltered and kitted out with garden furniture and a BBQ, it’s the ideal space to enjoy a leisurely breakfast of fresh, organic produce.
The surrounding area is simply sublime. Organic farmland encircles the property and offers the opportunity to lead you all into a mass of outdoor adventures! Forge streams, explore wildlife ponds and turn over every stone in the ancient woodlands…You’ll most likely spot buzzards and red kits overhead and deer on the ground, as well as meet the neighbouring Welsh ponies. Jacob Sheep Trekking and “hands-on” farm experience can be arranged with the owners too. From your doorstep, access walking routes directly onto the Black Mountains and Fforest Fawr Geopark – there’s plenty of scope to tire your entire pack out! Shops and pubs are a 5.5-mile drive away, or for a dose of café culture and shops, Brecon and Llandovery are 15 miles away.
