Perfect for a romantic retreat, bring your four-legged third wheel along and explore the fantastic Welsh countryside together. With a hot tub for you, and a terrace for the pup to enjoy, spend time outdoors or snuggle up inside with a tasty treat or two.
The heart of the home is open-plan, meaning you can keep a watchful eye on the antics of your canine companion whilst cooking up delicious meals, dining at the table, or relaxing on the sofa. With plenty of space in the kitchen, cook up a three-course meal and give the dog a bone at the same time. Spend sunny evenings eating alfresco on the terrace where you can spend time together and tire out your dog with games of fetch before saying goodbye to the gorgeous views and retiring to bed before tomorrow’s adventures. Rest your head on the first floor before freshening up in the en-suite shower room, packing up treats and stepping outside to explore.
Hop in the car for a fun-filled day and travel 16 miles south to the bustling market town of Brecon. Start with a stroll past the Brecon Canal Basin, stock up on picnic goodies and stop off for a coffee and a treat before continuing south into the Brecon Beacons National Park. Climb Pen-y-Fan, a further 6-mile trip south, the highest peak in South Wales, for panoramic views before heading home for a well-deserved rest. For a day by the water, visit Llangorse Lake (20.5 miles) and make your way home via the pretty town of Hay-on-Wye (19.5 miles from home) to refuel in one of the dog-friendly pubs. Closer to home, Builth Wells is less than a mile away and its quaint streets are dotted with shops, cafes and history.
