The pretty village of Pannal lies in a pleasant valley and from here you can take a circular riverside walk for 4.5 miles, joining part of the Harrogate Way. Round off your walk with a trip to the traditional woof-friendly village pub, less than a mile from the property. Spend a relaxing afternoon at Valley Gardens in Harrogate (2.5 miles away). The Grade II-listed garden welcomes four-legged visitors on leads and has some lovely woodland walks to explore, as well as outdoor games, crazy golf and a paddling pool for the kids. Journey into pre-history with a trip to Brimham Rocks. The spectacular rock formations are fascinating and have been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest. You and the hound can follow a 3.5-mile loop around the area.
