You’ll be completely enchanted by this luxurious property, nestled in an idyllic location on the banks of Loch Long in Ardentinny. The large house sleeps eight guests and two canine companions, making it ideal for celebrating special occasions with your nearest and dearest. The hounds will be in their element, with their own private beach right outside the front door and craggy peaks and hidden glens to sniff and explore in the surrounding Argyll Forest Park.

Once you have taken in the truly mesmerising scenery, step inside the gorgeous home and marvel at the elegance and grandeur. At the heart of the property is the spacious first-floor lounge. With windows on three aspects and a cosy central wood burner, it’s the perfect place for you all to sit back and relax after an action-packed day. The stylish kitchen also has ample seating, so you can all mingle during breakfast and plan your day’s itinerary. From here, doors lead to the outdoor space, so it’s a good spot to set up the furball’s beds. Outside, enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace, where the views are (obviously) spectacular, whilst the pups play on the lawn.

There’s a great selection of woodland trails and tracks to explore in Ardentinny, as well as a woof-friendly sandy beach just over a mile from the property. From here you can take the Laird’s Trail, which hugs the shoreline, passes through shady woodland and offers glorious views out over the water. A peaceful afternoon can be spent at the paw-friendly Benmore Botanic Garden (10.5 miles away). Admire the impressive collection of rhododendrons and conifers, all set within a dramatic mountainous landscape. Stretch the legs with a stroll to the viewpoint, 137 metres above Holy Loch, and keep your eyes peeled for golden eagles circling overhead.

Lovely house, with loads of space, in a prime location. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is a fantastic option. Ardentinny is beautiful, and this house is the perfect place to enjoy it from. Just make sure you stock up before arriving as the nearest shop is about 20 minutes drive away. Our main concern before arrival was that the inteRead morernet might not be great (we work remotely). However, we had no issues and could even stream the Scottish Cup Final on the smart TV. Hide

My 3 daughters and myself had a wonderful week. The house and location was fabulous. We had wonderful weather the first week of September. We did walks in the Argyll forest walks every day from the door. Pucks Glen was fabulous. We wanted to go to The. Ardentinny Bistro next door but one but my autistic daughter refused to go, but no matter becauseRead more we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The views from the bedrooms and upstairs lounge were unforgettable. Saw porpoises and gannets diving. Hide

The location of this house next to the loch is beautiful. The views are amazing. The furniture etc is comfortable and the house is huge. If you are going to cook you might need to take your own pans etc as they are quite small for a big party. There is a washing machine but no dryer which is difficult if you have prolonged rain as we did. We had a Read moregood week there - the extra things mentioned would have given a higher rating. The bistro next door is superb! Hide

Very high quality and near perfect location. A lovely house with the only fault being one available key for a difficult door to lock/unlock, especially with arthritic hands! A very unsympathetic response when I made contact to query the problem and a patronising forensic description of how the door mechanism worked. Otherwise, pre-booking experiencRead moree was wonderful and very helpful. Hide
