Situated on a family-run farm, this spacious home offers peace, quiet, and tranquillity, perfect for your group of ten humans and two canine companions. Go barking mad roaming the countryside, or spend days beside the seaside, before socialising in one of the two lounges, and dining alfresco in the enclosed garden.

This detached home is thoughtfully presented with contemporary styling and has everything you need for a self-catering stay. Hang up dog leads and place your walking boots in the hallway before heading through to the open-plan kitchen/diner. Rustle up breakfasts, lunches and dinners that can be enjoyed around the ten-seater dining table. There is also a handy pantry, a separate utility room and a ground-floor shower room with a WC. Warm up chilly paws in front of the wood burner in the lounge, which has comfortable seating and a TV, and a secondary lounge/playroom is great for the younger members of the group. The first of the five bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, a welcoming twin room with a shower room and WC. Upstairs are the rest of the bedrooms: a king-size, a double, a twin, and a bunk bedroom. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside is a fabulous space for all to enjoy. You will find an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ, and a further enclosed lawn area directly outside, perfect for the dogs to safely explore.

Traditional market town Holsworthy (4 miles) has a selection of shops and dog-friendly pubs or take a trip to the bustling seaside town of Bude (13 miles) and the sandy, dog-friendly shores of Summerleaze Beach. Lead the way to adventure at Dartmoor National Park (21 miles) which is a walker’s paradise with trails and routes taking in superb sights and diverse landscapes.

Lovely house and beautiful garden . The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we did make use of the dishwasher as we were a party of 10 adults for most of the time. Thanks for the box of essentials on arrival. The information file was particularly helpful as we didnt know the area. Maps and info re walks and beaches. Spent lovely time at CrackingRead moreton Haven but missed out on the crab sandwiches- best to get there early for parking and cafe! Highly recommended! Hide

Just returned from West Wonford House a true gem. Set in beautiful countryside and well manicured gardens. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Only 20 min drive from Bude and stunning beaches. Holsworthy short drive away for shopping and Blackberry farm. Would definitely book again. Fabulous hosts and welcome gift. Excellent accommodation for multi generation use. Thank you for goodies left for us. Fantastic fully equipped kitchen, and how lovely to be able to get all 10 of us comfortably around the table. The laundry room was a bonus with pre schoolers. Fantastic to have a pantry as well. An amazing selection of books and toys in the house, and 2 lounges meaRead morent that toys were kept to one room. What a wonderful Christmas we've had. Gareth & Sally and their children couldn't have been more welcoming. The house was perfect for us over the Christmas period as it boasted 3 downstairs living spaces which meant that the adults, teens and kids could all have their own space when needed and we could have noisy and quiet rooms! Very very quiet location away from main roads. Not too far to go to Bude but we did end up driving a fair amount. Lovely extended garden to which you have access and concrete yard for kids to play in. Short of comfortable outdoor furniture, but couldn't have used it anyway! BBQ, but small for the size the cottage caters for and couldn't find the utRead moreensils. Plenty of space and clean decoration. Sadly weather was..!! We loved staying at West Wonford House. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. It worked very well for our three generations! Gareth and Sally are superb hosts. They were on hand to answer any questions and check all was well. They also left us some lovely treats! We would definitely return.

We had a fantastic time over the Easter holiday. Owner living nearby is really a helpful gentleman. We walk around holiday home and found a lovely farm nearby. Friendly people in this small village. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here and the house was absolutely perfect for 9 of us. Plenty of space for the children to play and really well equippped. The owners had left a lovely welcome basket for our arrival with some treats in and were on hand during our stay. I recommend the walk to the local farm shop. Lovely, clean house and friendly owners. We appreciated the chocolates and biscuits, thank you! There is a pretty, quaint cafe at the local farm that does delicious cream teas and the beaches are beautiful.
