It’s easy to spend an action-packed day at the castle. Spend the morning clay pigeon shooting or get the adrenaline pumping on a 4x4 off-road adventure. While away the afternoon with a spot of wine tasting before taking a gentle amble through the magical gardens with your favourite four-legged pals. Alternatively, challenge the gang to a game of bowls on the lawn or slip into your swimwear and enjoy a lazy afternoon bobbing around in the heated pool. Within the pool area there is also a sauna overlooking the pond and garden, plus an outdoor shower. If you do venture out, head for Whitsand Bay. Considered one of Cornwall’s finest beaches, and dog friendly all year, it’s the perfect place to blow away the cobwebs before dinner.
