Luxurious cottage with wood burner perfect for cosy nights in and enclosed garden with seating areas for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The stylish property, in the spectacular Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, sleeps five guests and two four-legged companions. It’s easy to lose yourself in the sheer beauty of this magical place and completely switch off from the outside world. Majestically drift along the waters of Loch Katrine (15.5 miles away), with your trusty canine pals by your side, or climb to the top of Ben A’an (15 miles away) and be rewarded with views that will take your breath away.
This luxurious cottage has the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern interiors, to create a relaxed and chic environment. The light and bright lounge is full of stylish accessories and is the perfect place to unwind in front of the roaring wood burner after a long walk. The elegant dining room is a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast. French doors lead from here to the enclosed garden, so it’s also a great spot for the dog beds so the pups can easily potter in and out. Outside, you’ll find a gorgeous seating area and, up a few steps, is a mature grassed area where the woofers can stretch their legs.
Loch Katrine is simply stunning; its mystique and beauty has inspired poets and writers for generations, including Sir Walter Scott. The best way to experience it is on one of the paw-friendly cruises, which take you past some of Trossachs’ most famous landscapes and offer incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The choice of dog walks in this part of the country is limitless. However, you may like to add Ben A’an to your itinerary. Its distinctive pointed summit is an iconic sight in the Trossachs landscape and from the top you can see as far as the Arrochar Alps.
