There’s ample room for you all to find your own little area to relax; the day bed on the first floor is the perfect place to curl up with a good book after a wild and windy beach walk. Outside, you’ll find a beautiful enclosed garden where the pups can enjoy a good sniff and explore whilst you sit on the patio with a glass of wine. There’s also a handy shed with extra storage and a drying area for all your dog-walking gear.
Spend a peaceful afternoon on Walmer Beach. It’s an extension of Deal Beach, but considerably quieter. Plus, it welcomes canine visitors all year. Rover and Fido will love charging around on the pebbles and splashing in and out of the water. Alternatively, if you’re looking for sand, head up the coast to Kingsgate Bay in Margate (13.5 miles away). The sheltered cove is backed by dramatic chalk cliffs and you and the four-pawed ones can explore the intriguing sea caves. Pack a picnic and journey to Belmont House and Gardens, located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With 3,000 acres to investigate, including walled gardens, wooded areas and formal lawns, it’s easy to while away a few magical hours.
