Lovely property situated in the quaint fishing village of Appledore and within easy reach of local beaches.

For a family getaway to the coast, this beautifully finished property is an excellent option, boasting a range of private patio areas where your pups can soak up the sunshine. The views across the estuary are outstanding and can be enjoyed from indoors or outdoors. Less than 3 miles away is the blissful beach of Westward Ho!, offering a quintessential seaside experience and welcoming our four-legged friends to play on the sands all year around.

Light, bright and airy, the living room of this coastal property encourages you to take the weight off your feet and relax with views over the village. The wood burner effect electric fire is a welcome treat in the winter months, offering a perfect spot for Fido to curl up for a snooze whilst you watch the TV. Next door, the kitchen/diner has everything you might need to prepare a family feast, including a six-seater dining table for breakfast and board games. When you need peace and quiet, head to the quaint snug room where you can watch a film and warm yourself by the electric fire. All three bedrooms can be found on the first floor, each offering either garden or estuary views to enjoy. Bedroom one has a super-king size bed with plenty of space to store away your belongings, whilst the two further rooms include a double and a twin. At the back of the house is a spacious enclosed garden filled with pretty plants and a selection of seating options where you can sit and enjoy a meal alfresco or watch the sunset over the water. 50m from the property is a large open green area, perfect for walking your four legged friends.

Join a stretch of the South West Coast Path from Westward Ho! (3 miles) or Instow (5 miles) to experience the rugged beauty of this part of Devon, a trail that’s sure to set tails wagging. For canines who love adventure, head to Abbotsham Cliffs (5 miles) to wander between the pebbly shore and cliff-top pathways which offer panoramic views of the serene coastline. Alternatively, for a day spent soaking up the atmosphere on a beach, North Devon offers a selection of dog-friendly stretches, including Instow (5 miles), Saunton (18 miles) and Woolacombe (22 miles).

Lovely cottage with the most amazing view. Easy reach to Appledore centre where there are some great places to eat and always something to watch. The walk to the centre is a short but steep walk down with an event steeper walk back! We enjoyed going to Westward Ho and taking our puppy on the beach at the Burrows/north end.
