Beautifully decorated throughout, located in the heart of Faversham, this stylish bijou-style holiday home is full of vivid colour, fascinating furniture and antique finds, all in a convenient central location.

This fabulous cottage, within the conservation area of the abbey, sleeps six guests and three canine companions. Take a stroll along the medieval streets and marvel at the extraordinary architecture – there are over 300 listed buildings in Faversham! Explore the North Downs Way (join at Canterbury, 10 miles away) with the pups and enjoy mile upon mile of unspoilt scenery or head to the coast to find English seaside charm in Whitstable, 8.5 miles away.

The weatherboarded cottage cleverly mixes traditional features with modern styles, creating a chic yet cosy interior. The dining room has a large table to seat the whole party, making it a great spot for entertaining. The light and bright kitchen/diner is the ideal place for the hounds to set up camp, as there’s a toasty Rayburn to doze in front of and French doors that open onto the garden. Outside, there’s a fully enclosed garden where the pups can play.

The 153-mile North Downs Way takes you through two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, following an ancient chalk ridge. Your four-legged friends will love all the new smells as you pass through wild grassland and shady woodland. Spend the day by the sea in Whitstable. The sand and shingle West Beach is dog friendly all year and is lined with pretty beach huts. Grab some fresh seafood and enjoy supper on the beach as the sun goes down. Belmont House and Gardens, 5.5 miles away, is another lovely excursion. The furballs are welcome in the grounds on leads, where you’ll find gorgeous gardens, exquisite orchards and immaculate formal lawns.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful town. It was a great place to base ourselves for a week while we explored the lovely coast on the train. There's also lots to do and see in Faversham itself and lots of lovely restaurants and shops. So many places were dog friendly too, so we had a great first holiday with our dog. This lovely cottage set in a quiet corner of historic Faversham is a delight . It is full of character with interesting touches. It is tastefully decorated and very well appointed and very comfortable. There is a secluded garden which is a real sun trap. The owner loves dogs and they are made extremely welcome. We wish we could have stayed longer.
