This beautiful cottage is perfectly located, for walkers and beach lovers alike, set within a rural location and yet only a short distance from the dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline.

The gorgeous property, with fabulous rural views, sleeps five guests and one four-legged friend. This cottage is perfectly positioned for peaceful strolls through the surrounding countryside, as well as beach walks at the coast. Broad Haven beach is just 2.5 miles away and is a great woof-friendly location with its large expanse of golden sand. Carew Castle and Tidal Mill (14 miles away) also makes a lovely day out.

This semi-detached cottage is set on a working farm and backs onto rolling hills. Enter the spacious hallway and kick off your muddy boots, before snuggling down in the cosy lounge with a hot chocolate in front of the warming wood burner. Step down into the kitchen/diner, where you can enjoy relaxing views across the garden and surrounding fields. This spacious area is great for socialising and with its hard floors and a door leading to the garden, it’s the ideal area for the furball to set up camp. On the first floor, a split-level landing leads to the family bathroom (up a few steps) and the delightful bedrooms. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden and a summer house, providing a shady spot for the pup on a hot day.

As well as Broad Haven Beach, you’re also within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. This long-distance route hugs the coast for 186 miles, and passes along steep limestone cliffs, past red sandstone bays and along dramatic volcanic headlands. It’s broken into stages and can be joined at multiple points along the coast. Pack a picnic and spend a lazy afternoon at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, where Rover can join you on a lead. The picturesque ruins create stunning reflections in the mill pond and there are also some beautiful walks in the surrounding fields.

A lovely well appointed cottage in great rural location. Had everything we needed, washing line was great for drying beach towels! Be careful if tall, couple of places husband (6'3") banged his head due to lots of different levels, but it is an old cottage so to be expected! A lovely holiday, thanks.

Lovely stay. Dave the owner was very helpful and friendly, and the house had everything we needed The local beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and are great. Plenty to do in the area, especially if you like castles and walking, plus most attractions are dog friendly.

Lovely cottage in a lovely spot. Well equipped, maybe a couple of comfy chairs outside would be a good idea and fly screens at the door as they were a nuisance. Lovely owners friendly but not intrusive Nice place to relax and great for visiting local areas
