This quaint property, located in the popular village of Cromford, is a wonderful holiday home for you and your guests, including the waggy-tailed ones! Sleeping five across three peaceful bedrooms and with enough space for up to two dogs, it won’t be long before you’re off out exploring the Peak District and other neighbouring towns and villages. The property, which has some steep stairs inside, is cosy and inviting with beautiful exposed brick walls in the stairways and the main bedroom. The huge kitchen/diner is sleek and stylish, while exposed beams and a wood burner in the lounge beckon you to sink back into the sofas, your pups snoozing at your feet. Upstairs, the bedrooms lend a tranquil feel to your stay; wake up among soft, pastel colours and head to the contemporary-style bathroom for a refreshing shower to start your day right.

The Peak District Mining Museum (1 mile) gives you a fascinating insight into the history of the lead mining industry in Derbyshire and is well-placed for a stroll around Derwent Gardens afterwards which is just opposite. Your four-legged friends are welcome on the cable cars at the Heights of Abraham (1.5 miles) and can explore the acres of woodland with stunning views. Go back in the time at the Crich Tramway Village (4.5 miles) and take a ride on a vintage tram before hopping off and enjoying a picnic at the end of the line.

This is a lovely cottage on an historical street - old weavers cottages. The owners live nearby and their real investment really shows through. Its clean, fresh and very warm and comfortable with a lovely log stove - perfect for fresh days, and enough big comfy sofas for 6 people to crash out. Also a great location for the Centre of Cromford. Book Read moreahead if you fancy eating at the Boat, and pick up firewood from Arkwright Stores!. Hide

The location of this weavers cottage is excellent, with the Cromford mills and Canal in walking distance, as well as the famous Scarthin Books. Well appointed without being too fussy. Comfy bed and easy to use shower. No dedicated parking but that wasnt a problem - always managed to park very close to the front door.

We stayed at the cottage for a week (3 ladies). It was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. We wish we had stayed for two weeks. Very homely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to return.

This is a lovely old mill workers' cottage in Cromford, close to the historic mills museum and canal, and close to the town of Matlock bath, with plenty of walks around, nice pubs etc. The house is centrally situated in the village over three floors.

Lovely cottage for nearby attractions and towns. Town itself however was a bit too noisy/busy for us - lots of motorbikes. Cottage was clean and tidy and had all we needed, except a washing machine which would have been helpful to have as well as a larger fridge. Small double bed is small & would benefit from replacement - it creaks with absolutelyRead more every movement. Size of that room was adequate though and a larger bed would help! Blackout blinds would be good. Toddler bath was helpful Hide

Hand on heart I can say this was one of the nicest cottages Ive stayed in. It did everything you wanted it to, it was cute, modern, comfy, cosy, has mod cons, really clean, and warmed up quickly on a chilly day.
