The property has a stylish finish yet provides a cosy home from home to enjoy the magnificent scenery that surrounds the cottage and lovely dark skies.
This fantastic property, situated less than half a mile from Flamingo Land, is perfect for families – including the four-legged family member, of course! Sleeping six across three peaceful bedrooms and with a private hot tub on the terrace, this house is in the ideal spot for enjoying a relaxing holiday but also for exploring the North York Moors and Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spend the morning in Hutton-le-Hole (11 miles) and pay a trip to the Ryedale Folk Museum, finishing off with a pint in the dog-friendly pub.
The property, which has a lockable shed for storing bikes if you bring them, has a welcoming open-plan contemporary style. The kitchen area is fresh and bright with everything you need to cook up a storm and eat at the dining table looking out into the garden. The living area is filled with light during the day, but draw the curtains in the evening and you’ve got a cosy place to snuggle up in, watching your favourite show on the Smart TV while the pup snoozes. Upstairs, the bedrooms feel plush and indulgent and all promote a good night’s sleep.
There are plenty of attractions that your canine companion can enjoy with you. Take a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering (4.5 miles) and make a stop at Goathland, the train station used in the first Harry Potter film and in ITV’s Heartbeat. Wolds Way Lavender (12 miles) has plenty for kids to do including the Willow Maze and insect orienteering, but there are also lots of opportunities to see wildlife including butterflies, birds and bees. Visit Castle Howard (9.5 miles) and explore the pretty grounds – you might even be able to pick up a free dog bone from the Farm Shop!
