The North Norfolk coast is a wonderful place to call home throughout your holiday. Dotted with fantastic beaches, quirky fishing villages and delicious eateries serving up the catch of the day, escape the hustle and bustle and embark on exciting adventures by the sea. Your furry-pawed friend is welcome at this pretty abode, so grab the dog a bone and leave nobody behind.

Admire the characterful stone exterior before throwing off muddy items and drying off soggy paws in the lobby. The hub of the home is the open-plan living space where the kitchen, lounge and dining spaces welcome communal evenings on the sofa. Switch on the TV whilst the designated cook rustles up something delicious to be enjoyed at the dining table or take a plate outside and dine alfresco; an ice compartment in the kitchen means tipples can be kept perfectly chilled. Should you eat outside, please note that there is right of way to the neighbouring property through the courtyard. Once the sun has set and it’s time to call it a night, head back inside and up the steep cottage-style stairs to rest your head. The king-size bedroomhas plenty of storage for all of your belongings so you can feel right at home. Start the day with a shower in the fabulous wet room before descending downstairs for a morning cuppa.

Cley-next-the-Sea is famed for its 18th-century windmill but is also home to a fabulous array of tearooms, independent shops and places to grab a hearty meal. Whet your appetite with a taste of crab 12 miles away in the seaside town of Cromer before wandering up the pier, or chase sticks and make a splash at dog-friendly Holkham Beach, 11 miles away.

Second visit to this property and just as lovely as the first time. Very central location in Cley with both the Hanser and George pub a stones throw away. Would recommend. Stairs a little steep for those who have mobility issues, but otherwise lovely.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet unspoilt area. The cottage provided everything we needed for our stay, the bed was comfortable and the shower very efficient. We enjoyed the walk to the beach everyday and a walk to Blakeney. The Harnser next door was great for breakfast and the Picnic Fayre shop in the village was well stocked and has lovely homRead moree made cakes. We had a lovely relaxing week and was very fortunate with some nice weather. We would definitely return here. Thanks for our holiday. Hide

Gorgeous cottage in a wonderful location. So relaxing. Friendly neighbours and Cley is probably one of the most unspoilt coastal locations in Norfolk. Harmser pub/restaurant just 2 doors away is amazing.

We loved the cottage, and found it very comfortable and quiet. Location is very good, and we managed to park on the road nearby all the time. Not good for folk who cannot manage steep stairs, but the owners had provided everything and more for a self catering holiday in a beautiful and tranquil part of North Norfolk, where dogs are welcome.

A very peaceful place, very well situated to walk from with our dog. Well equipped generally with comfortable beds. There are very strict instructions in the property to not allow your dog either upstairs or on the furniture, so if you have a small, anxious dog then possibly not ideal.

The cottage is well presented and in an excellent location in Cley. The stairs are extremely steep and would not suit anyone who has any difficulty with stairs (quite important if needing to use the downstairs toilet at night), but that is pointed out in the description.
