Beautiful cottage and surroundings, clean, well stocked with a cosy living room and fire. Central to the village, yet secluded and easily accessible by car. A pleasure to stay there.

Great wee cottage in rural Fife situated in the friendly village of Ceres, near Cupar. It was like stepping back in time, reminding me of my grandmother's with a Belfast sink, Willow pattern tea plates and old wooden furniture. (More comfortable beds, though!). There is plenty to see round about: a little Fife Folk Museum with a lovely caf; many NTRead moreS places ;St Andrews and pretty coastal villages. We took the bus to Dundee to the V&A (30 mins away), which was easier than taking the car. Hide

Cottage is in centre of village. By the stream. Walking distance to Meldrum's Hotel for a lovely lunch or dinner. We were gifted a bottle of wine and a huge basket of logs to start off our stay. Very generous and much appreciated. Very comfortable beds. Well appointed bathroom. Central heating made it very cosy. It was perfect.

This cottage is in an ideal location- close enough to a lovely village to be within walking distance of pubs and shops, but tucked back a bit so that it is very quiet and secure. St. Andrews, Dundee, and Perth are a short drive away. The cottage is very sweet and cosy and the hosts are lovely.
