If you and the furball have a head for heights, journey to Heights of Abraham (4.5 miles away). You can take dogs on the cable cars and soar over the Derwent Valley and enjoy a stroll around the hilltop estate (just note that dogs are not permitted in the caverns). The picturesque market town of Bakewell makes a lovely day out (10.5 miles away). It’s incredibly walker and dog friendly, with pubs and cafes welcoming muddy boots and paws. Potter around the characterful cottages and marvel at the architecture of its wonderful old buildings.
