Cosy bungalow with all the home comforts, close to the city of Aberdeen and the pretty coastal village of St Combs with its sandy beach and grassy sand dunes.

Close to the coast, this humble abode sleeps adventurous families, friends and four-legged companions. Little guests can be the king of the castle in the treehouse whilst others try and spy the local wild birds and make plans for the day ahead. The welcoming wood burner promises to keep you toasty throughout your stay and is a firm favourite with tufty-pawed guests.

Step inside this cosy bungalow and into the spacious kitchen/diner. The designated cook can create exciting meals with plenty of worktop space and appliances whilst those with hungry tummies gather at the table and toast the chef. After your feast, head into the comfortable lounge where the wood burner throws out warmth, or you can throw open the patio doors on a summer’s day. Enjoy an evening curled up in front of the TV before making your way into one of three charming bedrooms. The two king-size bedrooms are decorated in inviting rich tones and one is treated to an en-suite shower room so you can avoid the queue for the shower in the morning. The remaining room has bunkbeds which are perfect for children who are excited for holiday sleepovers and midnight chats. Kick-start your day with a hot soak in the bathtub, an al fresco coffee on the private decking and a stroll through the grounds which are also open to the public.

Welcoming those with waggy tails all year round, pack up tasty treats, give the dog a bone and make the 6.5-mile trip to the beach at St Combs. Spend your day splashing in the sea, frolicking in the sand and tucking into a tasty picnic. For a spot of history, travel 8 miles to the remains of Pitsligo Castle and dig out tales of years gone by whilst those with four legs scamper about and sniff new scents.

This is the cleanest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. It was fully equipped with everything you need if self catering and even has basic essentials including kitchen foil, dishwasher tablets, washing machine capsules, cleaning products, salt and pepper. All you need to bring is your cooking ingredients and you're set! Beds and furniture are Read morecomfortable and the cottage is cosy if you are spending time there including the smart TV and wifi. Cottage was lovely and cosy and homely. The hosts were so helpful and made us and our dog feel welcome. Garden was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend for a break. The nearby beaches were brilliant.

Lovely house in the grounds of a garden centre on a busy road. The house was spotless and cosy with every home comfort imaginable. Despite the busy road the traffic noise did not disturb us. The grounds of the house (being the garden centre) were lovely and easily accessible for quick doggie needs. Fraserburgh is nearby and well provided with choicRead moree of 3 supermarkets.
