Bask in peace and tranquillity at this beautiful cottage in the heart of the Dorset countryside. The property sleeps seven guests and two dogs, making it ideal for large family gatherings or holidays with friends. You’ll have some fabulous beaches at your fingertips, including stunning Eype Beach just 3.5 miles away, as well as a great choice of doggy days out at attractions such as Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, just 11 miles from the property.
The charming cottage has bags of character, making the most of its beautiful original features. Enjoy breakfast around the table together, whilst admiring the far-reaching countryside views from the window, or cosy up on the comfy sofas in the lounge whilst the pups warm their little paws in front of the wood burner. It’s the outdoor space, however, that will really get their ears flapping with delight. The generous lawn is perfect for racing around on, whilst you sip your coffee on the terrace or take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Kids will also love the outside area, particularly the trampoline.
For an exhilarating walk guaranteed to get hearts racing and tails wagging, park the car at Langdon Hill (2.5 miles) and climb to the top of Golden Cap – the highest point on the South Coast. It’s a great way to blow away the cobwebs, whilst admiring the breathtaking views along the Jurassic Coast. Whilst here, check out Eype Beach – it’s dog-friendly all year and is a fantastic spot for fossil hunting. The majestic Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens are perfect for a relaxing afternoon excursion. Marvel at the vast array of exotic and unusual plants or take a stroll to the fabulous lookout (don’t forget your camera!). Fido and Rover can join you for all of it – they’re even welcome in the restaurant.
