Sitting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this elegant detached Victorian house boasts spectacular views over Loch Etive and a whole host of beautiful period features. Sleeping eight people over four bedrooms and welcoming two waggy-tailed friends, this is the perfect accommodation option for a family or a group of friends who want to get away from it all with their dogs by their side. You’ll appreciate the lovely landscaped gardens, and your pups will adore stretching out in front of the wood burner each evening.

Step inside this idyllic retreat and you can’t help but be impressed by the refined decor and impressive period features. Cook up a feast for your loved ones in the spacious kitchen and serve it up in the welcoming dining room, where there’s plenty of room for everybody around the table. Alternatively, head outside and dine alfresco in the gorgeous gardens. After dinner, unwind in the delightful living room while your furry friends snooze in front of the wood burner, or head to the sitting room for a little quiet time. At the end of the day, there are four lovely bedrooms to choose from. In the morning, head out into the landscaped gardens and sip your morning coffee as you take in the views of Loch Etive.

Your pups will adore exploring the tranquil beaches at Ganavan Bay (11 miles). Four-legged friends are also welcome at the romantic Kilchurn Castle, which was first constructed in the mid-15th century as a base for the Campbells of Glenorchy. Or, for a day out with a difference, take your pups on a boat trip to Tobermory from Oban (13.5 miles). The wildlife enthusiasts in your group will love seeing puffins, dolphins and eagles.

We stayed as family of 5 . Lovely old house in superb location just outside village. Gardens are lovely but a bit wild. House very well equipped and nice and warm in an unseasonably cool August!
