This stylish Bexhill-on-Sea property, less than 1 mile from the beach, sleeps eight guests and one canine chum. After breakfast, take a leisurely stroll along the promenade before heading out for a day of adventure. Spend a day at the beach at beautiful Camber Sands, Pett Level or Hastings along the coast, or soak up some history at the 1066 battleground (8 miles away), just one of the many woof-friendly attractions in the area.
Steps lead from the road to the front of the house, where you’ll find a spacious hallway for all your dog-walking gear. The bright and airy lounge, with high ceilings and gorgeous bay windows overlooking the garden, is a lovely elegant spot to curl up with a book after a long walk with Rover. The heart of the property is the spacious kitchen, with a central island to gather around for a chitchat whilst food is being prepared. The large dining table is located next to doors out onto the garden, so on a warm evening throw them open and let the pup potter in and out whilst you dine. Outside, there’s a fully enclosed mature garden, with a lawn and plenty of new sniffs for the hound to investigate. There’s also a BBQ and furniture for al fresco dining.
As well as the beautiful shingle beach on your doorstep, with its 2-mile promenade and colourful beach huts, you’re also about an hour’s drive from the glorious golden beach at Camber Sands. The 5-mile stretch of sand and dunes is perfect dog-walking territory, with ample space for off-lead shenanigans. Delve into the country’s rich history with a trip to Pevensey Castle (7.5 miles away), where you and your four-legged pal can snoop around the famous ruins and landing place of William the Conqueror’s army.
