Keen anglers can obtain licences from the post office to fish from the riverbank.

Through secure electric gates, this welcoming house will gradually emerge. Unwind in the ground-floor’s four large rooms; gather for nights of wine and wagging tails, create feasts of fine local fare in the slate-floored country kitchen/diner and savour them in the palatial banqueting room, or alfresco in the many outdoor seating areas. Bask in the indoor heated swimming pool with its French doors onto the garden, challenge friends and family to pool and table tennis in the games lodge and immerse yourself in a blockbuster in the cinema room. Soak in a steaming tub or shower in one of the six tranquil bathrooms and stretch out for dreamy nights in one of the nine cosy bedrooms, including the super-king-size master with river views, and the attic room sleeping ten, ideal for teenagers.
